Pierre Gignac to speak at a seminar presented by the SJI and the SDI

Pierre Gignac, vice president, Engineering, Canam Group, will present a conference on steel deck diaphragms at a seminar entitled Exploring Building Design with Steel Joists, Joist Girders and Steel Deck, which is being sponsored by the Steel Joist Institute (SJI) and the Steel Deck Institute (SDI).

This seminar, which will be of particular interest to structural engineers, is slated to take place next September 9 at the Home Suites Inn in Waltham, Massachusetts. Participants will follow several technical training courses and receive a certificate at the end of the seminar attesting to their qualification for 0.75 continuing education units (CEU) and 7.5 professional development hours (PDH).
