In Delivery: Canam U.S. completes delivery of a steel building system

The Canam U.S. plant in Sunnyside (WA) recently completed a contract for the construction and delivery of a steel building system for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. The system components were used to erect a warehouse at the winery, which overlooks the Columbia River in Paterson (WA).

The steel building system, which required 600 tons of steel, included 120 tons of 50 ft. joists to allow for construction of the building’s unobstructed 50 ft. X 50 ft. modules. Other building features include built-up girders, columns, 26 gauge wall cladding and a standing seam roof. The customer for this contract was Legacy Construction of Moses Lake (WA).
