Canam U.S. posts workplace health and safety achievements on the web

Evidence of Canam’s longtime commitment to health and safety in the workplace is now found on the Internet with the introduction of a web page that lists the achievements of U.S. plants in terms of occupational safety and health.

In recent years, Canam plants in the United States have achieved several new records and been recognized with a number of safety awards. These achievements are the result of the successful management of the hazards and materials encountered on a daily basis at a steel fabrication plant.

Information about various accomplishments, such as the 2005-2007 no lost-time injuries record at the Washington plant and the renewal of Jacksonville’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) STAR status, are currently posted on the Canam U.S. web site.
