Canam U.S. to present a session on human resource strategies

Ron Peppe, Vice President of Human Resources and Legal Services at Canam U.S., will present a technical session entitled Solving the Recruitment, Retention, and Training Dilemma during the 2008 North American Steel Construction Conference (NASCC). The conference, which will take place next April 2-5, 2008, in Nashville, is expected to attract over 3,000 engineers, steel fabricators and erectors.

“The fabrication industry is changing and employers are facing difficulties in finding, hiring and keeping the best employees,” said Mr. Peppe. The session will therefore be of interest to steel fabricators in general.

The NASCC Steel Conference will feature more than 60 technical sessions, the purpose of which is to provide structural engineers, steel fabricators, erectors and detailers with practical information and the latest design and construction techniques. The conference will also offer an extensive trade show featuring products and services by various exhibitors in the steel industry, including Canam U.S.
