Two years without lost-time injuries at Canam Washington

Canam Group achieved a milestone on Tuesday, October 16 when the Canam plant in Washington (Missouri) completed a full two years of production without any lost-time injuries.

"The safety and health of our employees is a guiding principle at our company and each of our employees strives every day to work safely. That kind of attitude is what drives this kind of accomplishment,” said Tariq Rashdi, vice president and general manager of the Washington facility.

A lost-time accident is a nonfatal traumatic injury that causes any loss of time from work beyond the day or shift when it occurred. There have been no recorded lost-time accidents at the Washington plant since October 15, 2005.
