The features, which go above and beyond Steel Joist Institute specifications and typical industry practice, can be specified on steel joist projects to provide enhanced capabilities to your designs.

Canam Fabricates 268 foot Long Trusses With 1,600 Connections for Indiana Casino
After months of calculating connections, complex fabrication and strategic planning for delivery of the monster pieces, Canam Washington and Canam Point of Rocks delivered 13 truckloads of trusses that will span 268 feet when assembled for the Argosy Casino in Lawrenceburg, IN.
These are Canam Group's longest continuously fabricated pieces; however, the trusses will be framed by five to six intermediate supports, which was not the case for the previous recordbreakers---239 foot Old Dominion University longspans (Point of Rocks plant) in 2000 and 253 ft (77.1 meters) for the Alphonse-Desjardins sports complex in Quebec, in 2007.
