Point of Rocks Emergency Response Team

Eighteen employees from the Point of Rocks plant participated in First Aid and CPR training as part of the Emergency Response Team. The group learned what to do in emergencies such as: heat and cold related emergencies, lacerations, fractures, eye injuries, choking, and CPR.

The class was led by George Clary Jr., First Aid and CPR instructor for the National Safety Council, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to save lives by preventing injuries and deaths at work, in homes and communities and on the road through leadership, research, education and advocacy. Our thanks to the employees who have volunteered to be part of the Emergency Response Team.
