Project Features
Completion: 2006
The new home of the Georgia Bulldogs mens’ and womens’ basketball teams practice and conditioning program required complex steel joist girders design and fabrication. Sixty-two barrel joists--some 72 inches deep and ranging from 30- to 104-feet long—were engineered and fabricated for the 120,000-square-foot practice facility. This required on-site field bolting of spliced barrel joists, and integrating a steel building onto the existing adjacent concrete building.
