- Canam's Washington, MO plant fabricated 57 joists for the new City Hall, replacing the building destroyed by the 2007 EF-5 tornado.
- All components in the building, including joists, are required to meet U.S. Green Building Council LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver standards.
- The roof is steeply pitched.
