Gift Shop/Main entrance to the Zoo, scheduled to open in late 2009, was engineered and fabricated by the Washington, MO plant and included triple-pitch scissors joists--the longest one 45' long--framing into each other and into a plate where they all join together, requiring multiple connections. Additionally Canam provided about 17 tons of joists for the low-roof area. |
